Manchester United beat Aston Villa 2-0 in FA cup

Manchester United knocked-off Aston Villa 2-1 in the third round last season. On Saturday, the story was the same. Late goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney saw Manchester United win again. This time the score was 2-0.

Both sides struggled to make their mark, as England's new coach Fabio Capello watched from the stands.

Ronaldo put United ahead in the 81st minute.

And substitute Rooney ended any hopes of a late Villa comeback with a fine strike eight minutes later. United beat Villa at the same stage of last season's competition, and once again it is Sir Alex Ferguson's side who advance to the fourth round of the FA Cup.
