Report: Bhutto attacker identified

·Pakistani police arrested several people in Swabi, where the attacker belonged.
·The attacker was killed in the suicide attack on Bhutto on Nov.27 in Rawalpindi.
·More than 20 other people were also killed and dozens were injured in the attack.

ISLAMABAD, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- An attacker on former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto has been identified, according to a local TV report Monday night.

Pakistani police conducted raids and arrested several people in Swabi in the North West Frontier Province, where the attacker belonged.

The attacker was killed in the suicide attack on Bhutto on Nov.27 in the eastern Pakistani city of Rawalpindi, some 30 kms south of the capital Islamabad.

More than 20 other people were also killed and dozens were injured in the attack.
